  • Students, student spouses, friends of the Seminary, and other interested parties may audit undergraduate and graduate courses at Southeastern if there is space available, with the professor’s permission, and by paying an audit fee.

    Music classes are not eligible for auditors.

    It is required that the auditor contacts the professor prior to the submission of this application to inquire whether participation in the course is possible.

    This form is not for any course 8000 level or higher. For this form, please contact the Office of the Registrar by emailing registrar@sebts.edu and we will be happy to help you.

    1. Auditors do not receive transcript credit for the class. If you desire course credit, you will need to apply to the Admissions Office as a credit-only or degree-seeking student, then take (or retake) the course for credit.
    2. Auditors are permitted to attend classes, with the professor's permission, on a space-available basis only. This means that Auditors may have to be removed from the class if enrollment increases too much. This will be determined near the start of the semester.
    3. The fee to audit any class is $52.00 (non-refundable once student is registered after professorial approval as an auditor in the course). This fee must be paid below.
    4. If you are trying to audit a doctoral program course, please contact the Registrar Office (registrar@sebts.edu). Auditing doctoral courses requires additional approvals and is made available only on a case-by-case basis.
